ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

For families within the communities we help, we want to provide resources to increase their level of income, such as providing resources for a clothing boutique or food market.

Help a family by making a one-time economic development donation, or team up with us by giving monthly donations.

In the Pay It Forward program, the family that is selected is loaned either one pregnant cow, one pregnant pig or a male & female pig, one pregnant goat, or ten chickens and a rooster.

We enter into agreement that the family will care for the animals and return them at the end of a specified period. During this period, the family is able to eat, keep or sell anything the animal produces, whether milk, eggs, or offspring. At the end of one year, each family is responsible for giving back what was loaned to them, but are free to keep any offspring. Then the animals are returned to Acts of Love Uganda to be loaned back out to pay it forward to another family in need.
